A silver plated roll top dining room carving trolley, circa 1910.
The carving trolley's roll top cover rotates to reveal the Bain-marie carving tray which is warmed by filling with hot water, and kept warm with the three burners underneath. The tray has two containers for sauce and gravy, in front hangs an octagonal tray for the craving knife and fork, beneath which is a tray for plates and utensils. The trolley has decorated cabriole legs and covered castors.
