Kenneth Alexander McDonough (1921 - 2002) was born in Wandsworth, London. He was best-known as an aviation artist, producing many illustrations for Airfix model kits and Aeromodeller magazine, and wrote and illustrated the book Atlantic Wings (1966). He also drew the educational strip "Heroes of the Clouds"
