A rare WWII one minute torpedo timer designed by Charles Frodsham, made by Robert North & Sons, Bushey. Circa 1944.

Numbered: W.2575

A large electro-mechanical chronograph used to time the flight of a torpedo, housed in a oak case with twin locks and inset handles.

12 inch dial, each 10 seconds are subdivided in to tenths, and each tenth further subdivided in to ten.

There are other known examples at the Frodsham Museum London, and The Royal Australian Naval Armament Depot.
