A rare pair of TRIOG turret binoculars produced by Officine Galileo of Florence, Italy.

80 mm Achromatic objective lenses and revolving oculars with 12, 20 and 40 times magnification. Graticule in each right hand ocular.

With original transit cases. The binocular case contains yellow filters for each ocular.

Officine Galileo is an Italian company producing scientific and astronomical instruments based in Campi Bisenzio, in the province of Florence. Founded 1862 , by the astronomer and instrument builder Giovanni Battista Amici.
