Model makers Sverres Varv & Mek. Verkstad was a Swedish shipyard and ship model factory on the Göta River in Hisings Kärra in Gothenburg. The company was founded in 1915 as Skeppsmodeller in Gothenburg to manufacture ship models for the shipyards in Gothenburg. The company also made ship models for the Gothenburg Maritime Museum Association. In preparation for the Jubilee Exhibition in Gothenburg in 1923, the company manufactured a long line of models of ships, shipyards and ports. In 1923 Skeppsmodeller was renamed Sverres AB, after 1953 Sverres only manufactured ship models. The company closed in 1993.
